Challenge

Free People wanted to add more eye-catching content on their social platforms. They came to me for help on short form ads, as well as to create a visual language to their series “In the Kitchen”.

Process

For “In the Kitchen”, videos were suppled and I created templates for graphics such as lower thirds, cooking instructions, and flourishes. Further editing the footage was often used to pace videos and to fit time restrictions.

Instagram content was much more free form, but sometimes quick turnaround. With these shorter animations I was able to provide art direction and propose different ways of using motion.

Holiday Outreach

This smaller project was a miniature post made for Free People’s Instagram and Facebook channels.
